Nestled between coves, bays and inlets along Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island’s East Bay region is one of the most picturesque in the state. There is also Linden Place which is a Federal period mansion, rumor has it, it’s got a very interesting past – lots of material for the local gossip column of the time! There are three museums: Coggeshall Farm Museum, Herreshoff Marine Museum and the Haffenreffer Museum.

Yet another historic treasure unique to Rhode Island is the Cresent Park Carousel. It’s ornately hand-carved horses are some of the finest preserved artifacts in the country.
